12/08/2025 log Title System, new Compact UI, and the Player Home Dashboard.

Update Log: The Promise Keeper & UI Refinement

  • New Player Home Dashboard: The main `Character` page has been replaced with the Martial Record (The Player Home Dashboard). This new hub captures the essence of your journey, displaying your Titles, Current Status, Cultivation Progress, and Journey Logs in one cohesive screen.
  • Selectable Titles: Implemented the new Title System. Titles are now unlocked upon completion of specific feats (e.g., *Promise Keeper*) and can be freely selected to display next to your character name.
  • Dynamic Player Status UI: Introduced a new, cleaner status panel. The display can be toggled between the Normal mode and a more Compact Player Status mode (via the Game Menu) for enhanced mobile gameplay.
  • Comprehensive Mobile UI: Applied further styling and organization tweaks across all pages to ensure a compact, clean, and highly readable experience on small screens.

Under the Hood: Optimization

  • Data Transfer Optimization: Refactored several core event loading processes to significantly reduce overall data transfer size, resulting in snappier performance, especially on slower connections.
  • Stability: The new v0.9.9 includes complex foundational changes, and while every effort has been made to stabilize the build, please report any new bugs you encounter.

Dev Note: Living the Wuxia Logs Journey

Hi everyone! This update was unexpectedly massive and complex, but I believe it brings us closer to the vision of a true Wuxia Logs experience.

The new Martial Record is a place to tell your character's unique story—your choices, your path, and your titles are now celebrated there. The compact UI improvements also mean your adventure is smoother and less taxing on your device.

Thank you for your patience as I tackle these foundational systems. Please give the new UI a try and report any unexpected issues. Your feedback is what smooths the path forward!

12/03/2025 log Bandit Leader Companion, Journey Stats, and Survival Updates.

Update Log: The Unorthodox Path & World Data

  • New Companion: Bandit Leader: Implemented a powerful new ally for players on the unorthodox cultivation path. The Bandit Leader offers high-risk, high-reward combat support, distinct from the righteous path.
  • New Event Chain: Added a multi-stage questline to locate and recruit the Bandit Leader. This content explores the darker side of the Jianghu.
  • Journey Log Upgrade: The world map now displays strategic data including Relationship Status with NPCs and a Zone Completion tracker. You can now clearly see secret progress beyond 100% for each zone.
  • Performance: Optimized event display rendering for faster load times and smoother text transitions.

Survival Mechanics & Event Refinements

  • Forest Shrine Blessing: Triggering this event now grants the 'Sense of Herb' buff, significantly increasing your harvest chances for crafting resources.
  • Stamina Recovery: You can now consume 'Grilled Meat' during 'Out of Fatigue' events to speed up stamina regeneration and return to adventure faster.
  • Health System: The 'Out of Health' collapse event is now shorter and less disruptive to the game loop, though the Internal Injury debuff remains a key survival threat.

11/30/2025 log Auto-battle system added, basic Companion support.

Update Log: Companions & The Path of Semi-Idle Cultivation

  • Semi-Idle Cultivation Toggle: Added a Basic Auto-Battle System toggle! If you believe your martial foundation is strong enough, you can now close your eyes during simple fights. This is a core part of making Wuxia Logs playable while you handle real-life duties.
  • Basic Companion System: Implemented the foundational system for Combat Companions. Currently, only the NPC Lian can assist you in battle, but this is a clear sign that you will not always walk the Jianghu alone! (You may find her inside the local Inn, if you are fortunate enough to be close to her.)
  • Improved Information: Both the Skill UI and the Item Inventory UI now provide better, more detailed information, making character planning and inventory management much clearer.
  • General Stability & Quality: Applied various fixes and made continuous improvements across the board.

A Note: Balancing the Path

Hi everyone! This update officially begins our shift toward the "Semi-idle" Wuxia game loop I've been aiming for. I know many of us want to live a Wuxia life while still living our real lives, and the new auto-battle feature is key to that.

Moving forward, the most crucial task is balancing the game loop around this new system. We need to ensure that the time you spend AFK (auto-battling) feels rewarding, but the time you spend actively playing (tackling tough encounters, managing companions, engaging with the story) remains necessary and strategic. That balance is what truly defines a good semi-idle game.

Thank you for helping me test this new direction. Please let me know if you encounter any bugs. Your feedback is vital as I forge this new flow.
