Update Log: Life on the Edge
- Zone Enrichment: The border city, Shanyinli is now fully populated. We have marked this phase as Completed in our roadmap. While the world is "living" and may always receive new secrets, the core experience, facilities, factions, and daily life events is now stable and ready for full exploration.
- New Unique NPCs: Disciples with high standing in their Sects may now encounter two new unique characters. Chen, a guard who seems to sleep more than he watches, and Little Yan, a street urchin with nimble fingers. Both have unique narrative chains, and one of them can be recruited as a Companion.
- Sect Life Update: The foundation for Sect interactions is solid (80%). You can join, rank up, and perform duties. We are now finalizing the Sect-specific equipment for the next phase.
- Teaser: The Mountain Pass: Rumors from the miners speak of a "Cold Fissure" opening near the pass. We are preparing a new extra zone that will introduce Environmental Battle Effects where the terrain itself becomes a participant in combat. With puzzle-like events mechanics.
Early Alpha
- Five Major Areas: Serene Forest, The Village, Deep Forest, the treacherous Mountain Pass, and the bustling Border City.
- Complete Story Arc: The journey now extends far beyond the Bandit Leader. Survive the pass, defeat the Guardian Beast, and choose your faction in the city.
- Expanded Playtime: ~2-3 hours for the main path, plus endless replayability with Faction dailies and NPC storylines.
New zones, secret techniques, and sect rivalries are in active development. Feedback is welcome.
